P0443 code

P0443 code
I have a 2006 tl with the CEL on, code came up P0443 the only related threads I could find on this site points to PVC, I tested the Solenoid control valve by running 12v directly to it and I can hear it click which according to YouTube means it is working, what next??

Nope, gotta change it. It's an intermittent and fickle beast and well documented to be a part that fails. Replace the valve with an OEM and call it a day.
