Hi,

i have a 04 tl 5/speed with 56k miles. It has a Apexi AFC NEO with only the rpm gauge connected.

i noticed when in auto mode and i hit the gas hard, the check engine light flashes (codes p0300 to p0306) and the car stops revving at 4000rpm. Also like a rev limiter has been put on.

when i have the car in manual mode this hardly ever happens.

I just changed the spark plugs with ngk iridium plugs.
Before i change the coils i wanted to know if it could be anything else?

I just purchased the car last month and this problem just started to happen. I am new to acura/hondas so any input is appreciated.

Any idea what would cause misfires at the 4000 rpm range?

i changed spark plugs and coil packs already.
cleaned the egr valve

dont really know what else to do.
any input would really be appreciated.
