Overheating?

So not sure why this is, but recently under my front fenders (in the rim area) my car has been feeling more hot than regular. I'm not sure what the problem would be?

Has anyone felt this?

Brakes dissipate a lot of heat in the area around the fender wells.

Check (or have a trustworthy mechanic check) the brake pads and caliper operation-- make sure they aren't sticking or rubbing when released-- along with the disc/rotor conditions and thickness.
