Outside temp not working stuck on (---)

Today my outside temp on the dash display stopped working it displays (--- F) all the time no matter what I do reset the computer, disconnect the battery. It keep displaying no temperature any ideas why its doing this?

Also this is causing the air/heater conditioner to not work.
