Is it OK to drive with ABS warning for a few days?

Hello, I recently blew out a tire, and was driving around with the spare for 2 days before getting it replaced. During those 2 days of driving with the spare, the ABS warning light went on (it didn't go on initially when I blew my tire). I've called my mechanic to see if he can investigate it, but he says that his code reading machine won't be back for another 5 days. So I'm thinking that whatever is wrong is probably related to the ABS, not the regular braking system. Since the weather is great right now (in the 70's, no rain in sight), I thought it would be OK to use the car for another few days.

But I found a list of ABS codes (http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=978933). I don't understand them all, but some of them seem to refer to regular braking function.

So my question is whether all these ABS codes are all ABS-related and therefore low risk for me to drive for another few days, OR, are some of them potential problems to the regular braking system in which case I would find a mechanic ASAP?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

I'll say yes as long as the BRAKE (not ABS) light isn't on when driving.

if your abs light is on. That means your ABS isn't working.
It's off for some reason, Could be a wheel sensor issue.
I drove the my car around with the ABS light on for about 5-6 months until I got the chance to replace my wheel bearing.

I don't see any problems with driving with the abs light on.
Also, you need a scanner that can read ABS codes.

something like this

Amazon.com: Actron CP9580 Auto Scanner with CodeConnect Trilingual OBD II, CAN and ABS Scan Tool: Automotive Amazon.com: Actron CP9580 Auto Scanner with CodeConnect Trilingual OBD II, CAN and ABS Scan Tool: Automotive

You don't need ABS to drive a car.

As long as the brakes work and you have fluid, it's fine.

I would pull the positive battery lead to reset the system. The smaller diameter of the spare will make the abs system see a fault, since all the other wheels are spinning slower.

My ABS light was also on but I got the wheel bearings replaced and I also got the ABS sensors replaced since they were bad on my car, cables chipped and stuff. Normally that light comes on due to brake issues.
