Oil leak

Oil leak
So my 2004 Acura TL, i brought it to two mechanics and one mechanic said my tranny is leaking a bit and also the oil pan is leaking. The second mechanic said that the tranny and oil SEALS are the cause of the leaks and so he quoted me at 2000$ to fix both because the labour of taking the tranny out and stuff.
I watched on YouTube scotty Kilmer (a mechanic) and he said he fixed oil seal leaks with this product called AT-205 re-seal and he said it works great for seal leaks. I did an oil change yesterday and had the mechanic pour in a bottle of the resealer and so far there still has been two (dollar sized drops of engine oil as well as two nickel sized drops under the tranny)
Im wondering what I should do at this point?
Should I wait it out to see if the product works? Or pay the 2000$ to fix the seals. There's not much leak just the dollar and nickel sized droplets under the car. (I check under the car like every few hours or when im with the car.
Anyone with experiences with fixing oil drips and leaks, advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You should find a mechanic that gives you a better price than $2000 to change the main seal.
It's a crappy job, it's long, it's tedious, but $2000 is the price you'd pay at the dealership. For that sort of money you can get your tranny rebuilt in a small shop, for comparison purposes...

If it were me, and I wanted to keep my vehicle for 2-3 more years, I would fix it. However, $2,000 is too much. Make a list of reputable shops and call each one to gather estimates. I'm not sure exactly what seals are leaking, but I am assuming your transmission axle seals along with your rear main seal is leaking? If that's the case, I'd be looking at about $1000 or less.
Call around, get a fair price, and fix your car

I bet it's not your oil pan, it's your engine oil pump seal that's leaking (right above / along the oil pan).
Find where the leak is on the tranny before committing to work. This is how mechanics rip you off.
