Odd clutch issue

So i started to notice that whenever I rev the car out, the next time I depress the clutch pedal it feels very odd. It ends up feeling like the travel is very short, and the effort is high. I'd compare it to going from a stock clutch on one use, to an ACT 2600 with a 6 puck the next. This only happens if I rev the car out, and it will only do it the immediate time I press the clutch afterwards. Any use of the clutch subsequent to the 1 time it goes back to feeling normal.

At this point I'm chalking it up to some weirdness with the dual mass flywheel being on its way out?

If you search hard clutch pedal you will see there are quite a few threads about this issue. It's seems it could be one of a few things- old fluid, clutch master cylinder, or the clutch/flywheel/pressure plate getting old. First you can try bleeding the fluid and see if new fluid helps but I'm kinda doubting it. I have 180k on orig clutch and what seems to have stopped my issue like your having (stiff pedal after running thru gears at higher rpm) was changing my clutch master cyl.

What he said. Sometimes changing the fluid might help.

Well I should of mentioned that I flushed the fluid out when I put in a new OEM Slave cylinder that I did the check valve delete on. Anyway to check the master properly?
