Is this normal

Just wanted to run this by you guys to avoid the BS that I may get at the stealership. I have a 07 TL-S and with the temps dropping I have noticed fogging in both headlight housing at the inner side. In my recent interactions with the stealership I have enough reasons to believe that they have no idea what they are doing or saying. Here are the pics, let me know what you guys think. It is a TL-S 07 with 19k.

I thought so too. When I called the stealership they said that "they will first see if any front body work was done or if the front bumper was pushed back that could have broken the seal". I told them it was a recent CPO purchase so they should have inspected it in the first place for any body damage and also that if there was any then it was not disclosed at the time of purchase. He replied that if the car was not bought at their dealership they will not be able to do anything in that scenario.
This should be interesting. I have realized one thing though, CPO is just a marketing ploy and means nothing.

I had that issue with my old TSX and both headlights were replaced, no questions asked. It seems they knew this was an issue with the TSX. Not sure if it is so much with the TL. Good luck.

Thats hazing, it happens when there is a sharp temperature drop , I would only worry about it if it stays like this for more than a day or so, then it might be a leak otherwise its just the humidity present inside the air within the headlight hazing up against the lenses.

Under certain temperature changes the headlights will show minimal fogging, similar to the windows in a house, but should dissipate when the internal/external temperature equalizes. Our 2008 knock around vehicle is usually garaged, but occasionally it will remain outside and under certain conditions the large headlights will show some evidence of fogging, but will diminish quickly.

As far as CPO, yes, it's a selling tool, but generally the vehicle must be in great condition. Our TL wasn't a CPO, but while we were dickering about price, I said I'd purchase if they made it a CPO. They did immediately and I drove it home, so much for the 150 point inspection.

My TLS does it too, i even changed one headlight to see the difference and it still does it, exactly like JNC said when the temp drops. It seems that the exterior cold and heat from the HID cause it. But after sitting in the cold after a few hours it disappears, never get it in the summer only when the cold hits...It annoying and ugly -is there a remedy for it?

^ not a big deal & I wouldn't worry about it like JnC suggested.. that fly / bee on the right headlight would definitely 'bug' me though.. I hope it's on the outside & not inside.
