Noise/Vibration/Hot Hood?

Noise/Vibration/Hot Hood?
I just got a new 05 TL a few days ago and noticed a few things.. 1) The hood and plastic stuff covering the engine get extremely hot after a few minutes on park. 2) it starts to vibrate and make a wheezing noise after a few minutes in park. Are these normal? if not what causes this? thanks!
