noise after lowering subframe

I have a 08 tl-s 6speed this weekend I had the subframe lowered a bit so the sway bar bushing could be changed. On the drive home I realized a slight noise coming from the driver front driver side of the car that is rpm related; almost as if it's coming from the transmission/transmission is louder than it was before. Could something be loose, not alligned or affected from the subfame being lowered? I know I am probably not giving much here, but on the way home from work today the car just sounds a bit different above 2.5k rpm and is ticking more than usual under wot; sometimes there is a bit of ticking from the trans under hard accelerate but it's usually just 1 tick. Any ideas Acurazine?

Are you saying they could have been damaged from lowering the subframe? I'm going to have the bolts that were loosened checked again. Any other ideas?
