Wear your seat belt??

I think there are other similar threads, but don't remember the outcomes. Suffice to say Acura has this set up to not easily be defeated.

Would need to double check, but believe it does in my car.

This was one of my peeves, too. Apparently disabling the seat belt warning will also disable any other warning tone and may interfere with the center speaker in the dash. My solution? Buckle it.

Also, the passenger side on 2005 TLs does not trigger the seat belt warning. It's only related to the airbag. I can only verify 2005 models.

It's been a long standing policy that even if there is a way to disable this MANDATORY SAFETY DEVICE, we won't allow it to be posted.

Basically, if there is even a remote possiblity of liability, it won't be because of something that was posted here.
