No electronics, not starting

Hello, I have a 2005 Acura TL 6-speed manual. It sat for about a week and when I tried starting it nothing happened. No electronics, no sounds whatsoever, nothing. This even occurs while being jumped. I've replaced the battery cables and still nothing.

wouldn't the electronics come on while it's being jumped even if the battery is bad?

I think you should still get the battery tested. Perhaps your battery was so drained that even a jump-start was insufficient?

You're on the right track to solving it... if replacing the cables didn't solve anything, definitely check out the battery

In theory, yes....but always something to check anyways. Otherwise I would assume there is a break in continuity somewhere from the battery to the fuse boxes. Does this car have a fusible link?

You can also unhook the battery and hook up the jumper cables to see if the lights will at least come on. Do NOT start it like that, just see if juice is flowing.
