Exclamation NO dash, steering, trans, door, overhead backlights + NO parking, side marker,

cont. - license plate lights.

The cause? Found in the under-hood fuse box, location No. 4, rated 10 Amps, little green fuse labeled "Small Light". Page 247 of the Owner's Manual.

Small light? Yeah, right! All that trouble because of one blown fuse

Hope this helps someone in similar situation, this fuse would be the main suspect!

Haha fuhgidabowdit, I thought I was going cuckoo lol The lights selectively went out. The headlights, reverse, brake, gauge cluster, navi/info display, reading lights, cigarette/accessory plug, all worked fine but everything else was out.

The problem re-occurred numerous times until I opened up the dash and looked for a bad ground or an open in the wiring. Sure enough, the ground bolt on the passenger side, by the glove compartment, was loose with a bunch of wires attached to it loosely touching the metal plate. You have to completely remove the glove to get access to this bolt.

That's why every time I went over a bump or an irregularity in the road the fuse blew, leaving me with no interior light in addition to no exterior lights. Hope this helps someone.

Is that all you can contribute to this conversation, your confusion?

All I know, that fix did away with the problem, bad ground is bad ground to me, I'm not a pro. If you're looking for a technical explanation, I don't have it but people in the know told me that it might as well could have been the root of the problem. I'm just glad the fix was as simple as it was and I don't have to deal with the fuse blowing again and again leaving me without lights. I wanted to share my story in hopes it might help someone in similar situation.
