No ac / hot air

hey guys I just joined and new my English isn’t great I apologize but a friend of mines referred me here that been a member at acurazine for quite some time... recently I hit a speed bump couple days ago and my ac stop blowing cold air.. Now it’s blowing hot air I try recharging / adding Freon but I can hear a hiss sound while it was recharging like it’s leaking Freon.. I also check my compressor it seems like it is locked but I’m not sure.. what do you guys suggest? I google everywhere I can’t afford to go to mechanic and fix it since I’m on a budget

FWIW: If you can hear it leaking, " I can hear a hiss sound while it was recharging ", you should see evidence of Freon, at the point of the leak. If you can't locate the source of the leak, you may want to try charging the system with a UV equipped Freon, which would make it much easier to pinpoint the leak.

I agree, I would try to locate the source of the leak first. Then figure out what's next. Best of luck with the repair!
