Hey, guys! This is my first post so I want to ask some basic questions about my TL that have been bugging me for a while.

First off, my steering wheel controls don't work and my airbag light it on. I'm pretty sure I need a new clockspring cable, but I just wanted to be sure before I bought anything.

Second, my speaker is buzzing, but I know it's not blown because the buzzing changes with my with my RPM. Do I have a bad ground/ground loop? If so, how do I fix this issue?

Finally, my headlights are super dim. I had one of the bulbs replaced (Which costs $100 for the bulb alone). I was told that I was only able to use the stock, factory bulbs, and that no other bulbs were compatible with the vehicle? Is this true, and if not, what is a good bulb to use in this car?

 

Your AMP is bad. Its a common issue with our TL's. I'd post in the BlackMarket (The sales place of Acurazine) for a WTB: Amp. Got mine from the BM for $80 shipped.

You can use any bulbs that are DS2. For OEM replacement bulbs at a reasonable price check Retrofitsource.com

 

sounds like an amp problem with the speaker.

hey man. I was wondering if this guy ever got to you about that stock amp for I have the same issue and narrowed it down to the amp as well. Been looking in BM and nothing. Let me know. I'm ready to buy
