New rear windshield has bubbles

I just had my back glass replaced by an autobody shop since it broke and they fixed the rear quarter panel from a hit and run. I got the car back 5 days ago and noticed that in between the glass there are bubbles, especially when standing outside and looking in when its sunny but cant tell when inside the car. Anyone have this problem? I haven't even gotten it tinted yet. Any suggestions, maybe defective glass. The autobody shop guy said its brand new glass

Got pictures? I'd call the company who did the job and take it back in.

Manufacturing defect. I realize the following is for the windshield, but it will give you an idea of the severity of bubbles.

Report Receipt Date: AUG 06, 2014
NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V484000
Component(s): VISIBILITY

Manufacturer: Ford Motor Company
SUMMARY:
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2015 Lincoln MKC vehicles manufactured August 20, 2013, to June 6, 2014. The affected vehicles may have visible air bubbles in the windshield glass. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 205, "Glazing Materials."
CONSEQUENCE:
Air bubbles in the windshield could impact the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
REMEDY:
Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the windshields for air bubbles, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began in August 2014. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-800-392-3673. Ford's number for this recall is 14C07.

Depending on the severity, I'd say that the replacement is your decision.
Maybe even take a piece of the tint material and hold it on the inside to see if the bubbles are less visible.

But you can't see it when sitting in the car, is that normal?

My car has that too, I actually never thought too much about it...LOL

I only notice it on certain mornings, and like you, I don't notice it sitting inside the car.

I've noticed that on my TL too. Like Tri said, only on cool mornings though.

Those look like typical tempered glass strain patterns to me. See it more in morning and evening or with polarized glasses. That looks a bit more visible than I usually see but all part of tempered glass. When you said bubbles I thought you meant air pockets.
