Just started experiencing a new noise under the hood of my 2004. I popped the hood and took the left cover off, its definitely coming from my belts. I had the timing belt done over 25k ago. Was curious to know if anyone else had this happen and if there is a quick fix to get rid of the obnoxious embarrassing noise. If you turn the volume up you can hear it.

 

pull off your serpentine belt, check to see if your idler pulley has play in it, could be the bearings in it. replaced mine with a gates one from rockauto. Mine sounded like that but inspect it first!
