Found a Type-S a couple days ago that it needs some TLC. So far the Bluetooth isn't working and I have the tighten gas cap error going off constantly. Does anyone know of other things to watch out for . This car has almost 171,000 miles. interior not so pretty needs a lot of diligent cleaning and conditioning. Other than that I feel like I got a pretty good deal. The car I got is in the profile picture.

The HFL module is very common thing to break in the TL next to the gas cap warning, I own 2 TLs a base and a Type S and they both have the same issue.
HFL unit can be bought at AZ OEM parts vendor for $256 + $89 - $190 core deposit (once you complete replacement send the old one back along with copy of purchase receipt and they will issue a refund)
Gas cap warning can be address very easy (there is multiple DIY in this forum) $90 part + 10 mins of your time and tools needed for the job are 10 mm socket and pliers. It simple as disconnecting to vacuum hoses and remove a 10 mm bolt and 10 mm nut.
