New here

Hello everyone I'm new here, I'm nick , I decided to join because I have a Acura 2004 tl model and I have referred back to this site a few times and it has been helpful! Now I have a issue where my car is stuck in park, and my transmission is engaged . I used they key to override it and neutral just don't seem like neutral, seems like the transmission is still engaged in neutral. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

Since this is a technical issue which will require replies and not a "New Member Introduction" I moved this thread to the appropriate subsection so you can hopefully get more help.

Well, I'm no expert in the 3G automatic transmissions, but I can tell you that they've had a higher rate of failure than most vehicles. You could try changing the transmission fluid if you haven't already. I believe there is also instructions in the 3G garage forum for changing the relays. Again, I don't know much about that. My 3G was a manual. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Here are a few threads I found:

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely consider this when it comes time to troubleshoot!
