New Headlights in 04 TL have moisture
I just purchased my car an 04 tl about 2 months ago and noticed moisture in the headlights, went back to the dealer which replaced brand new headlights on both sides. Its been about a month now and it hasnt rained much but today it was pouring for a bit and i noticed moisture in my new headlights. I am sure the lights a brand new. Whats going on? Is this a common problem with these lights? How do i fix it? Anyone else have issues with this and solved it? Thanks

I dont have the old headlights, because it was i just bought it they changed new ones for me, i think they need to send them back for a warranty. I got the car back after very late same day and i could tell they were new just looking at them.
I'm planing to take the headlights out and check the seals, but everything looks good when at the moment. it cleared up the next day. Very odd for new lights

I don't know if this is relevant at all but I usually get condensation in my headlights after I sealed them up, it only really happens for a day and never have an issue after that. Make sure all your bulbs are seated properly, and the black bulb cover is on nice and tight. There also should be a gasket around the bulb cover.

Search "Nissan Butyl Rubber". Or google "site:tl.acurazine.com Nissan Butyl Rubber"
And put dessicant packs back in; even the old ones if that's all you have.

Actually there's another thread mentioning a 3M product that is the same and cheaper at NAPA.
BUT, for OP. YOU have new lights, they are probably sealed just fine...what you have is humidity that got trapped INSIDE the light when sitting on a shelf or during transition.
What CAN be done is not a conventional solution but you can do yourself.
Put teflon tape around the foglight bulb (built into headlight)
Also, cut a length of garden hose, buy a shopvac fitting (reducer) about the size of a blowdryer end on one side and small enough to be pretty tight on the hose (then use electrical tape to make airtight). Now take out foglight bulb and open another socket on the headlight assembly. Run the hose in the foglight bulb hole and run a blowdryer thru it for 10 minutes...you will WATCH the moisture evaporate, then disappear then it will be pushed out the other open socket.
Seal back up and you're done.
Good luck! It works, trust me. I bought modded headlights and had my stock untouched ones in the attic. After a month I switched back and my unmodded headlights NOW had condensation in them and they never did before. I had a theory and I solved my problem.

I also want to mention that when I had a minor fender bender back in Sept 2010 my passenger side headlamp had to be replaced. After that was done I had to go back twice for condensation issues. Both times my headlamp have been replaced and on the second time they inspected it and the previous assembly had a silicon work done it actually looked like it was returned and then Acura parts place might of put some silicon on there doing a sloppy job and put it out to be sold go figure. From what I was told from the body shop that there has been issues with headlamps as well as tail lamps
