I am trying to access the wiring for the steering wheel (I am trying to make my fogs independent) but after removing the three screws from the steering wheel covers, M*therf*cker still won't come off? is there a DIY on this? I have searched, but I can't find one. anyone know how to take it off, I also need to get to the firewall, which will require me to take off another cover under the steering wheel.

The top cover of the steering column will come off without removing the 3 screws under it, you just have to pop it off with a flat-head screwdriver, trying not to scratch the bottom cover. Watch yourself, I just had to replace my headlight switch after attempting this mod
