Need opinion on this front passenger door water leak

hey all. got a leak from the front passenger side door. it's coming through at the bottom between the door panel and metal door frame. only happens during heavy rain. my rear passenger footwell is wet because it's packed on an incline.
I took everything apart and saw the vapor barrier adhesive are 50% in bad shape (not adhering) & the small rubber plug was not attached to the door at the top right corner by the door lock pole thing. i'm thinking about just redo all the adhesive for now. weather striping all looks good...

anything I'm missing? Thanks.

look around the inside of the door panel and make sure water isn't coming in from the seals behind the door handle. I recently encountered that issue on the rear door of my TL and it was $10 in rubber seals to fix it.

the door panel is bone dry except for the circled part under the courtesy light; i also had water droplets inside the courtesy light housing; this was after i blasted the car with water hose; also the section of black foam weather strip right under the courtesy light is flat; i might replace that section too...
