so im planning on doing one of two things with my tax return...buy new wheels or get some dents/dings and repaint probably my whole car front to back top to bottom. has anyone done this on their 3g and if so about how much can I plan on spending for minor body work and to respray the whole thing? and any advice on body shops in the central ohio area?

i had a complete job done, the paint job itelf without repairing anyhting else was around 6000

I had some dings and rockchips on my car took it to small custom shop they charged me 2,400 and that was everything silver,clear and the bodywork.

I would try PDR on the dents first, then refinish the car.
The less body filler / glaze, the better off you are.
NBP is super easy to paint, for that manner any black is.
Ask for references, and paint material brand, material warranty, and workmanship warranty.
