need everyones help?????
I am about fed up with my service dept here in Utah ........
Took it in last Thursday because i am having a problem with a squeeking sound when applying the break petal......They gave me this lame ass excuse it was the brake dust from my aftermarket wheels. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?
One last thing anyone alse noticing a "square line out line" on the passenger side
dash, service is saying its where the airbag deploys from? any way of hiding the line?

airbag line is common, put some 303 aerospace protacant on it and it will go away. For the brakes, do you have a type s tl or a Manual? if so you have the brembos, theres a TSB around here somewhere for it.
wheels dont cause brake noise
Aftermarket brake pads may though
If you changed them without cleaning the rotors or depending on pad brand---
Which brakes- brembo- etc and we can help you
A common cause of sqeeling is pad glaze from dragging the brakes
use them the harder to reduce speed in segments- not like Flintstones where the feet stay on the ground the entire time until braking completed at the Bront-Rib Joint

im assuming you have MT. I had the same prob on my 04 MT. took it in on 3 separate occassions. because of glazing from the pads, they turned the rotors and it would help for a little while. 2nd visit same thing..turned the rotors. 3rd visit they replaced the rotors and pads. 15K miles later havent heard a squeak. didnt even ask them to do it. i thought they were just gonna turn the rotors again, but they did a very nice thing. thank you acura carland! your dealer should do the same. there is a bulletin from acura stating this very problem. good luck.
