Need 6MT axles

I searched, but I'm not sure if there are any recent developments on this issue. Raxles no longer has either side for the MT cars. Is OEM the way to go at this point? Maybe one of the Azine dealer affiliates has a discount?

I believe ACKTL05 can get you OEM's for about 350 shipped.

There is now a set of OEM's for 330 in the Black Market for around 330$:

I got my GSP axles from Advance Auto. Both sets for 117$ shipped which I figured was 1/3 the price so I went for it. Haven't installed them but so far I've heard 95% good reviews on them.

Thanks guys. Those OEMs in black market are in Cali and he doesn't want to ship, plus will charge shipping if he does have to ship. So I could go with OEM from Ack who I have dealt with before, or roll the dice on GSP? I really wish Raxles had these, as I would actually trust them and they'd be cheaper than OEM.

i think you ought to try GSP at least once since it has a lifetime warranty.

I've asked Advance Auto on their return policy and if you end up having to replace the thing with another axle (be it OEM, or whatever), just send them the receipt for the replacement and you'll get your money back for the broken GSP. This is because I live in Cali and there are few if any advance auto stores i could go to for an exchange.

here's an email i got from them:
Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email and we appreciate your interest in Advance Auto Parts!

Once it has been determined that the part is defective you may purchase a replacement part at any auto parts retailer convenient to you. Please keep in mind that normal wear and tear is not covered within our Warranty Policy and that the original purchase receipt must be in the customer’s name who is filing for reimbursement in order to qualify for a refund. You may also use the defective part as a core or trade-in for your new purchase.

Include all of the below information:

• Original purchase invoice from Advance Auto Parts; keeping a copy for your records
• A copy of the invoice for the new part
• Your mailing address and phone number

Mail the above information to:

Advance Auto Parts
Attn: Warranty Department
5010 Airport Road
Roanoke, VA 24012

If we can further assist you please reply back to this e-mail or contact us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623). Thank you for your time and we look forward to serving you for your future automotive needs!

so define normal wear and tear vs defective? it's like one of those 3rd party warranties...try to make a claim and they come back saying nope, not covered....it's your fault you broke it b/c of x-y-z. just sayin'.

i look at it like the lifetime autozone warranty on brakepads, which pretty much includes "wear and tear".

since you technically dont need to send a core back to AdvAuto, you could probably just get away with replacing it via receipt.
