Navi Display

Need your help if possible. Just recently I did the Dvd & Ipod mod (Dom & Dice) everything was working fine until I went back into the dashboard again to give a little more slack to the Ipod cable.

Now I've notice periodically the Navi Display Screen lights is a magenta color and then it would switch to white as it should. Did I loosen a connector or something when I went back into the dash area? .....a little help please. 05 TL/Navi

eh.. the backlighting shouldn't change color; but there's probably a loose pin or something in the back where you connected everything..

kinda like a monitor ya know? when a pin gets bent and isn't contacting the screen turns purple or blue or yellow..

Thanks Timmah....I suspected something like that may have happened. And now I must go back behind the radio to verify everything is firmly pushed in. They killed Kenny, those bastards. I was compelled to say that lol.....

did you install dom's unit behind the dash???? IF so that is completely wrong and can void the warranty on dom's unit. If not, then you might have not connected one of the harnesses in all the way, hence no proper connection.

Dom is mounted in the trunk......Dice is under the steering wheel dash. But I think when I pulled on the Ipod cable I may have loosen one of the connector..... damn I sure hope so.
