My 2004 Acura TL maintenance list
My car has never had this many maintenance work done in a long time!
October:
1. New serpentine belt installed "old one began to shred."
2. Rear brake pads were low, changed to Hawk pads.
3. Regular Oil change, new AEM CAI filter. (old ones was too dirty for me to try to clean it... lazy)
4. Spark plugs changed
5. New tires, after 66k
6. New type S rims (got a good deal from a fellow Type S owner.)
7. New Air Temp. Sensor (stripped the old one by accident.
November
1. Tranny Fluid changed (10~12k as usual considering I'm pretty anal about it.)
2. Front BBK break pads changed (after 30k miles)
3. Front rotors changed (drilled, cannot be cut.)
4. Rear rotors swapped (check other thread for the fun adventure.)
5. Pulley tentioner went bad, got a new one.
6. Blower Idler began to go bad, changed it.
7. Brake Fluid changed (first time in 66k miles...)
8. New Cat. Converter (old one gone bad..under warranty.)
9. Recall done for Powersteering hose
10. Recall done for W.wiper motor
11. Antifreeze/coolant flushed
December: Plan to spent $0 on it.
In the end, car feels like it has gone through a major makeover lol. The only thing left to do is the timing belt at 100k + water pump..... that's pretty much it. Comes to an approx. of $2725... NOT BAD. and oh BTW, I baby this car.
