Dont drive it or you will need a new transmission and engine. Transmission cooler lines probably came out or something. Happened to my 08 last year... Got it fixed then had to do a bunch of drain n fills to get all the water out of the transmission.

Good news is I have put on another 40k kms since and trans still works beautifully. May not be the case if you tried driving very much after the problem occurred.

What do you mean transmission is blocked? If it's seized then yeah, no choice but to tow it to a shop and get a new transmission. Otherwise, don't drive it or even start the engine. Just get it towed to a shop and explain the situation.

And it's good you used large text. I can't see very well and that really helped.

I did not drive the car after that,
Looks like the radiator.

The hose (metal part) where the trans fluid entered/exits (passenger side) the radiator completely came off (not sure what caused it,pressure ) completely came away from the radiator.

i will try to replace the radiator today, should I buy OEM or aftermarket? Hope that the tranny is still good.

the trans seemed to die. It gear shifter moves fine (Park to Reverse, etc.) but it wont move when in Reverse nor Drive (lower gears either).

I also forgot to mention that the car has only 31k miles. is to soon for the transmission to go bad.

Coolant going into the transmission is probably bad..

also if the transmission fluid emptied out at the radiator.. that means no more transmission fluid in the transmission, also bad.

Get a DENSO radiator on Amazon. Same as OEM. Get 2 gallons of Honda/Acura blue Coolant and a few quarts of ATF DW 1 transmission fluid to replace.

The transmission is hydraulically controlled so no fluid = no movement. Yeah, try replacing the radiator and refilling the fluids before you take it in. If no-go, then I'm afraid to say that you've probably got a $3000+ transmission job ahead of you.

I think it takes 8.5qts to fill it up from empty. Check service manual to be sure. Do a 3x3 to get out as much coolant as you can. I would also flush the radiator to make sure that there is no atf in coolant. Maybe add an external cooler and magnafine trans filter while you are at it.

If I remember correctly a 1x3 only replaces about 40% of the fluid. Water in the transmission is bad... Even small amounts, so the more water you can repace with good fluid the better. I did about 7 or 8 1x3s after the garage did about 4 of them... Each time i noticed improvement to the cars' performance.

I was on the road when it happened to me in the middle of nowhere but we have CAA and got towed to the nearest city centre. After they figured out what happened, fixed the broken lines, replaced the fluid, and i payed 1200 bucks for this the car felt like a 4 cylinder. At the drive through I had to get the rpms ianto the 3k range just to get moving.... After doing all the extra drain n fills the power came back.
