Moisture In Headlight
Moisture In Headlight
Hello Everyone,
I have a 2008 TL Type S. Whenever I go through a car wash, my drivers side headlight fogs up for a few days to a few weeks. There are no visible cracks on the outside. I was looking at a part diagrahm and it does mention 1 gasket, could this be cracked and causing the issue? Do you think I need to replace the entire housing, or could this gasket be causing the issue?

Stock headlight or baked and cleared/blacked/modified?
Is it out of warranty? If not, you may be able to get it replaced.
Could be the gasket, but I don't think it's a common problem.

Sorry for the late response guys, yeah it's a stock headlight, and I am interested in blacking them out, but I don't want to invest the money into this headlight if I can't figure out the moisture issue. The moisture has evaporated again this time, but as soon as I wash the car, it will come back.

My parent's minivan has condensation in a headlight and they bought the vehicle brand new, and of course it's not modded.
Definitely could be something wrong that does not include modded headlights lol
I would check the bulbs as suggested.
