A minor annoyance with my 08 TL-S

So in my old 1994 accord AT, right before I come to a complete stop, I like to very gently release the brake so you don't get that jerk as you stop. However when I apply this same technique to my 08 TL-S AT, I hear the creaking / rubbing sound as if I'm riding the brakes and moving very slowly, which I guess I am.

My 94 accord makes the same sound if I were to ride the brakes very slowly, however there is significantly smaller range in brake pressure in which it causes the sound, and thus when I apply this technique, I never hear the sound.

Anyone know a fix?

sometimes changing pad composition will help with this. I just picked up my TL on Saturday so I haven't had time to do any of my usual upgrades, but on my MR2 and CRX I run Porterfield R4-S pads (the S is very important. Do not run pure R4 pads on the street). They grip better, fade less, last longer, and don't grind.
