I'm sure others have brought this up but I must speak. Consumer reports rates the TL (2006) at 23 miles overall. The highest I've seen is 21. Now, granted I live in a very crowded area (New Jersey), but even taking it easy and not being a cowboy, I regularly get 18-19. I know there's alot of variables, but is this normal?

Yep, its common on all cars. That's why standards for mpg rating are being changed by the govt

 

How much stop/go is your driving?

With 0-30 stop/go and occasional 45-60mpg drives, i see 21mpg. With 45+ constant mph, I then see 23 with very low stop/go.

It varies but your numbers are prob right.
