Melted coil pack

Help, I've been reading about the coil pack problems on this site. I've had virtually the same problem. I towed my Acura TL 2006 in to a Honda dealer b/c no Acvura dealer is within 400 miles(Bismarck, ND). They said the coil was bad and maybe the spark plug pushed back out. After burning up 2 more coils They tried to tell me it was the ECU, but they weren't positive! Even though it would be covered by Acura (I have 65,000 miles) Acura states they will not cover it if the honda techs do it. There statement was "Honda techs are not trained as well as Acura techs" that being said they are towing the car to Minnesota (I pay half) so there guys can make a determination. The Honda techs stated there is slight condensation but no water damage per say. I feel Acura is trying nto find a way out of paying b/c there is no way I did anything wrong. I drove the car 12 hours without a problem 2 days earlier. (Milw-Bismarck). I also have an extended warranty who states they won't cover it either b/c Acura should. Can anyone give suggestions or tell me what could be the problem? A/C was not plugged. Thanks, Dean

Not sure about dealing with acura warranty, but i had ignition coil problems awhile ago, also after a long trip, and my mechanic said he's seen a lot of these coils go bad on our cars around this mileage (100k) cost me $100/coil to replace all 6. It's been the only problem with my car ever.
