Mechanic bad

Around 2 months ago I had a new timing belt with everything else that comes in the kit water pump so on as a preventative measure since my beloved acura tl was on the good side of 150.000 all went well so I spent over $1000 parts and all for timing. Next was everything on the front end was also bought new and replaced there's $800 so next in line was motor mounts were bad I ordered all and when they come in last week I loaded them up and began my 3 mile trip to the mechanics shop half way there it dyed and wouldn't start back up well he calls me yesterday and said your motor is locked up lmao what's the percentage that the mechanic made a mistake while putting timing belt and accessories in or he says it's gotta be the oil pump bad and locked the motor up

when it died did you hear any clicking / clanking sounds? Like valves hitting the pistons..

I had a Mitsubishi 3000GT in 1999 and it was a real nice car.. Ran smooth , clean , Red and real nice.. Then one day, CLANK.. and it died. Timing belt broke.

But I ahve never heard of a honda motor locking up.
