When i engage my HFL in my 07 TL-S i get maddd alternator whine. It has been this way from day numero uno. I dont know if all TL's do this with the HFL or what but i do know that if Acura either grounded this better or put a noise filter on it the very annoying problem wouldn't exist. So am I an oddball here or does everyone have this?

Yeah, I experience it as well. There is a TSB out on it (I believe it's the same issue) but my doesn't happen all the time and haven't had it addressed yet.

have it in an 07 TL 3.2 with navi when the HFL is active over radio controls

Mine also does this intermittently. I also saw the TSB and was going to have it addressed at my next service.

I have an 07 TL and I noticed that when the volume is above 10, I hear alot of alternator noise. Is that the same case for you guys or pretty much at any volume level.

Dont have that on my 05 TL.

Did have it on my 95 Mustang GT, when i turn on the radio. I had to kick the side panel a few time for it to stop...LOL. Never got it fix since it doesnt happen when i take it in for repairs. But little sis fixed it by totaling the mustang..lol
