My 05s giving me a hassle light flickers like it's glitching but sometimes it flashes sometimes it's solid I've checked my dipstick, tried installing a new oil filter and topping off with new motor oil. I'm assuming my oil pressure switch is my next thing to give a shot at.
This has been going on since Thursday and although I know I shouldn't be im still driving it with no issues except for the light.

Recent work done includes installing rv6 jpipe and rv6 hpdc's an oil change I did afterwards, new app sensor and rear wheel bearings. I was thinking maybe I made a mistake a put the wrong type of motor oil but would this cause the same affect 2 weeks after the fact?

Any advice or tips based on experience?

 

Need new oil pressure switch

 

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge

 

I changed the switch out and same issue, I believe it only happens when car is in drive or reverse not in park

 

How often have you run the engine low on oil?

 

Could be the solenoid screen needs cleaning.
