Looking for info on hfl

Just wondering why some of the hfl boards have green plugs on them and some have a grey one? Was going to try and fix mine but mine doesn't look like the one in the videos

I'd recommend to not bother with the hfl, has limited functionality. I picked up a USA spec bt45 , price was good and adds full Bluetooth functionality to your stock stereo for music as well as hands free calls.

04-06 Green Connector. 07-08 Gray Connectir.

USAspec Bluetooth adapter is cool and adds Bluetooth music streaming. However I end up using the HFL because 1-I like using the dedicated steering buttons and I like to dial numbers from the navigation screen 2-USAspec doesn’t use center speakers for calls (or maybe it does but it utilizes all speakers so I hear the center less)
