Looking at a 2007 Acura TL AUTO

-> Going to look at a 2007 Acura TL with the 6-speed Auto. Now, I know that the 04-06 had problems with the automatic transmission, hence I am looking at 07-08 years. Only issue I have is that the pictures do not show the redesigned exterior with foglights and it still has the old gauges, and I wanna make sure that I am looking at the right generation as I do not want to run into problems with the transmission. My question is, did ALL the 07-08 TLs have a redesigned exterior and interior gauges? If that's the case should I even consider the car in the first place? the car is well maintained with tranny fluid replaced 6 months ago.

Look at the serial number, the number just before the "A" will tell you the model year. So will the title.
There is no 6-speed auto, only the 5AT. BTW.

I have seen several ads of 04-06s being LISTED as 07s.
The gauges are totally different as are a ton of other clues.

Buyer beware.

I would post pics of the car here. We will be able to tell you what the car is pretty quickly.

I have 125,000 on my automatic 2005. And that's more miles than I ever got out of any GM automatic. Hopefully it goes longer. So I wouldn't say that's a problem unless you think 200,000 miles is more appropriate for transmission.? But nothing will last without regular maintenance.
Still if you can find a 2007 or 8 that you're happy with, I would go with one of those because there are some changes that are better on the 07/08 then the 2004 to 6
