Lights cluster will not work! Help please!

So this weekend, I changed out my headlights for 6k, and added 6k HID fogs to my 08 base TL. I also did the independent fog light mod. This morning on the way to work, my fogs shut off, my trip counters reset, and my light cluster will not work. No fuses are blown, and everything else is working perfectly. What do you think could have happened? I'm at a loss except replacing the cluster, but I'm positive I'd just be wasting my money because it would just quit working too unless I found out why. Hmmmm... the research I've done tells me that I need a relay for the HIDs.

it has something to do with your install.
Please re-check your work.

and yes, a relay harness should have been used for the fogs.

My work is good, it was working since Saturday night till this morning. Hmmm do you think I burned out the switch? Is there any way to open it and check the connections?

....Did you use a relay harness when wiring up the fog lights? A member on here (I remember it was a female member, can't remember name) had electrical problems shortly after she got her HID fogs installed. She didn't use a relay harness and ended up frying something. I don't remember exactly what happened besides that she didn't use a relay harness after getting HIDs installed and encountered electrical problems not too long afterwards...

Sounds like you possibly just had the same problem.

Just tested and apparently the switch stopped working. We grounded all the pins going into the wiper switch and they all came on and functioned normally. So a new switch will be here Monday and a relay is on the way also. Thanks for all the help guys!
