Cool Left OEM Wiper Blade Went; which is best? RainX Latitude or OEM or Other?

Just like the title states. A few days ago my left OEM wipre blade broke in the middle, so i need to have it replaced. The right one is fine but if i replace one might as well do both.

I heard that the RainX Latitude are much better than OEM but i dont know if anyone here has tried them on their TL before.

I can't compare them to the OEM, but I installed the RainX Latitudes a couple of weeks ago and have been very pleased with them.

Can't believe the mods are letting this one stay open. Wipers have been discussed many times in many different threads. There is even a thread dedicated to wipers in the Garage.

A simple search for "latitude" yields no less than 10 threads.

You could've went to the stealer, purchased just the inserts, and been out of there for $12, installed.

It's a good deal, since it's cheap, and the labor is done for you.

I saw the Icons but they got very bad reviews on a 3G TL. They are known to streek and over all suck.

I have Silblades on my 05TL, and they have lasted longer than others I have tried including OEM, Bosch. I have not tried RainX. I also have Silblade snow blades on my minivan. These have work really well in icy conditions and reduce ice build up around the blade. I ordered directly from Silblade -- had one problem where they sent wrong size but they did correct and resend.

Looks very good. It has the same design as the Bosch Icon ones. How long have they lasted for you? I have never tried the RainX ones either, this will be my first time.

What is the approximate life span of wiper blades?

I've had the Bosch Icon's on my TL for a little while now...they do work good, but they chatter on the windshield like crazy unless the rain is fairly heavy.
