Just installed some PCB Board LED's in my interior domes in my 04 acura tl base.

This has killed the correct functionality of the map light buttons. at normal setting (lights go on on unlock and with open doors) the led board is lit but not fully, only 40% brightness, maybe less. That means to keep on normal setting I have a light blast in my face. Additionally at the normal setting (not the always on or always off setting) when i turn the car off that lighting remains on,,, i don't know if it eventually turns off, i think it might,, i think basically the low current needed to power the lights is causing them to be dimly lit even when off, at least in normal setting. Anyone see this, anyone have any ideas of a fix ?

 

does the hyper flash issue everyone runs into on there blinkers somehow relate or parrallell this issue, ?? I need an electrical wizard on aisle 5
