LED front blinker problem

I just installed new LED lights to my front blinkers and now all my lights are blinking fast like when it's about to die out. A friend suggested a resistor but he didnt tell me which kind OR how to install it. I need a DIY on this asap. the rapid blinking is really starting to piss me off. Its also not very bright. could that just be the quality of the light or the fact that i need the resistor?

I'm not the LED blinker expert but it sounds like you have a resistor issue.

They have the in-line load resistors that you can get at vleds, etc. or you can replace the OEM shunt resistor in the turn signal relay. Check out this thread below for more info on the shunt resistor.

As for the other method, I'll leave that up to you to do a quick search on the forums to get more info. I'm sure there are plenty of threads on the matter that will help you out. Good luck.
