Hi, I order the ijdm kit for the drl (led lights and the harness) and the lights do not illuminated. All the connections, the wires and the fuse are ok. I tried to reinstate the old drl on the oem connection and the light do not illuminate too! The element came orange- res but it do not illuminate at all!! What is the problem?

I find the problem, one of the connector was deffective!

My DRL light on the cluster is open and they said (ijdmtoys) that it was because the kit is only for the 2007-08 tls because others tls don't have drl. Mine is a Canadian and it has drl!! Do someone have their kit on a 2004-06 canadian tl?

 

Are you talking about fog lights or daytime running lights? Before 2007, TL's had the fog lights in the headlight housing. I think that is what they mean?

 

I am talking about daytime running lights. Our canadian models don't have fogs. I suppose that the wiring for the drl is the same for the 04-06 canadian and the 07-08? So the harness should fit there!!

The company said that they just test the harness on a American model, so it is supposedly the problem...I think it is bullshit and they just don't want to replace it! I will live with the drl light..

 

when you say defective did you have to cut it out completely or the silver male prongs were messed up. I just installed mine and they came on for a second and then wiggled the wires and got nothing

 

I cut the connector and I weld the wires!
