leather pealed :(

so somehow there was a windex spill on my seat that i didnt notice till about 2hrs later. and the windex ate my leather. it looks like the leather has a upper coating above it and thats what pealed off.

the texture now is like a suede or something kinda texture.

What year is your TL? Maybe you can get it fixed under warranty.

I would definitely try to get that fixed under warranty, hopefully it will qualify as a goodwill job by the dealer. We had a similar situation (anti-bacterial soap) and they fixed it without any questions, thank god cause it looked damn ugly.

Prolly the ammonia in the windex did it .. Why would Acura warranty a screw up by the owner .. was no fault of the leather coating.

^ But why not try? I've found all they want to do is make the customer happy... So you keep buying new cars from them.

If you have good terms with your dealer, why not try?

I thought I read somewhere, perhaps on the Wash and Wax section that the leather has a thin plastic coating. Perhaps this is what has peeled. Perhaps you can get it re-applied.
