Knocking and squeeling in engine area

Ok I tried searching and didn't come up with anything. I am getting a knocking sound from the engine area, I only get it when I drive and it is consistent with how fast I drive, also I am hearing a squeeling sound that is similar to the a fan belt squeel. The squeel is heard all the time whether the car is in gear or not. I don't know if the two sounds are related but the seemed to had started around the same time. Also I feel the knock in the pedals, I don't seem to feel anything in the steering wheel. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Wow Not one response! Anyways it turns out my lugs were loose on one wheel causing the knock I was hearing so that is fixed, but I still have the squeel. I bought belt dressing and put an ample supply on the belt but that didn't fix it.

Belt dressing doesn't fix failed bearings. Take drive belt off, start car and see if noise is still there. If it isn't, chances are it's your drive belt tensioner. If noise is still there, check the timing belt area. Until you do this, we don't have enough information to properly diagnose.
