I recently had my front struts replaced on my 05 TL because of a knocking at my front end when I went over bumps, but the noise is still there. Any Ideas?

 

Ball joint/s? Of course, the idiots who told you that you needed new struts should've checked the ball joints first...

 

A lot of things can cause a front end clunk. Ball joints, motor/transmission mounts, lca bushings, end links, sway bar bushings, subframe mounts, rack bushings... There's a great video by ericthecarguy showing how to locate a suspension noise. I think motor mounts would be very likely.

Checked your engine mounts?

 

OK if the car does not vibrate when going down the road you can rule out ball joints. When the ball joints go bad you will always have some wandering and vibrations.

If the noise is only when going over bumps, then you can do you sway bar bushings and endlinks

 

^ I don't know if you will always have vibrations, but yeah maybe some wandering. I think clunks and sometimes squeaking

 

Ball joints. Have the exact issue. Bushings are decent, except for the BJs (pretty much did a overhaul on my suspension except for coils - they still have life in it).
