Hello,

I have just purchased a used key fob (memory 1) from keylessremotesonline.com. I have successfully linked it to my car BUT key fob 1 is linking to memory seat 2. The MID says "Driver 2 detected". The back of the key fob clearly says 'memory 1'. I have tried unlinking/linking before and after programming the remotes but to have no luck. Is there something that I am missing from the programming instructions to correct this? Is it possible the remote that I bought has been tampered w/ and doesn't contain a mem 1 chip? (am i just being paranoid?). Any help would be greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone ever ordered from remotekeysonline.com before? I've gotten in touch with their customer rep once but since I've hinted at exchanging the product, I haven't heard back from them. I was just wondering if anyone else has better experience with them.

it could be simple as when the company was testing the remote and checking the battery, the wrong cover was put onto the remote. I would ask for an exchange, and if not, look into FLBUSA's switchblade keys for the 04-06 TL's
