Just replaced Lower control arm & Ball Joint question

Now in order to remove the ball joint, you must remove that ring that sits inbetween the splines of the axle and the knuckle.

Is it recommended that ring NOT be re-used?

After replacing it, I notice a small noise coming from the L.F
Sounds like I have something stuck in my brake pads.

It could be the ring or the rotor since I did miss a few times with my 3 lb hammer and caught the edge of the rotor instead of the ball joint bolt.

( I have slotted rotors to put on anyway. Just waiting on my pads )

That's a vague description...
If you're talking about the Knuckle Ring (PN#:90348-SDA-A00); there is no reason why that should be replaced unless damaged during disassembly.
If you're talking about the C-Clip that holds the bearing in place (PN#90681-SDA-A00), same thing applies, although I personally would feel better about replacing that since it's cheap and I'm already in there.

Good luck.

Sorry for the vague description.
Wasn't sure the right term for that part.

But ,yes, its the knuckle ring. In order to remove the front lower ball joint, that ring has to come out.
I may have bent it a tad when attempting to remove. I'm assuming its bent based on that slight noise I hear.

I still need to replace the Right front ball joint so I'll definitely purchase a new knuckle ring since they are fairly inexpensive.

Thank you
