Only 79K original miles I still wanted to have the timing belt replaced, after all the car is going on 20 years old.

So I took it to my trusted mechanic, a Honrda/Acura master technician, the only person to ever work on the car, except me.

All fluids replaced, new plugs and filters plus timing belt and water pump. Total cost $2000.

Car runs great and will be with me forever.

Love my TL bought her new in 2006 for 33K.

how did the timing belt look after 20 yrs

 

Not too bad, but after 20 years of service it had to go for my piece of mind.

 

If is subframe not alloy than steel you need to spray Fluid Film into it if you are in rust belt.
