Interior Trunk Switch

Hello,

I had a question on my trunk switch, the interior switch isn't working. It's plugged in, but other than that I don't know why it wouldn't be workin. It sucks cause the only way i can get in my trunk is basically the remote - which you can't open when the car is running.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe check the switch in the glovebox? That is so that the valet can't get in your trunk! If you actually gave them the Valet key (not your fob).

Open your glove box and check the trunk lock switch.

It is a switch which disables the interior trunk release - security reasons. It is also mentioned in our manual.

I had the same problem as the OP and was going to take it in for warranty. I have a 07 type s and the trunk switch in the glovebox was my fix. It somehow got flipped to the off position. Just check it and push it back the other way
