so today my TL suddenly decided not to turn on the interior lights
when I either open a door or when I turn off the engine like it normally should.
It also does not turn of when I lock/unlock the door with the remote as well.
Anyone know how to address this? The lights still work as you see in the vid below.

Update:
Rear passenger interior lights won't turn on at all.

 

Check the position of the interior light rocker switch, which is in front of the sunroof switch with the HFL unit in the upper console.
